Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane has finally unveiled the best teammate he ever had during his illustrious playing career and it’s none other than Ronaldo Nazario.
Speaking to Goal, via Bleacher Report, he said: “I always thought Ronaldo was the best because I played and trained with him. He’s probably the best I’ve ever played with. He did everything he wanted with the ball and had no weaknesses.
“When he decided to express himself with the ball, he did everything he wanted. From a technical point of view, no player has impressed me more than Ronaldo.
“There was no system or tactic that could have stopped him. That was the case with several players, and he was one of them – he was quick and skilful.
“When Ronaldo had the ball, he was running at a speed of 2,000 miles per hour. In most cases, you are fast without the ball. He was quick with the ball.”
Zidane played with Ronaldo for four years between 2002 and 2006. The iconic duo were almost unstoppable in La Liga winning the League in 2003.
