West Ham and Chelsea will raise the curtain on Matchday No 5 in English Premier League on Saturday afternoon at London Stadium.
The visitors will enter the tie in higher spirits after a 1-0 win at Bournemouth. It was not be brightest of displays from Chelsea, though.
Bournemouth missed a penalty through Evanilson and had more chances to break the deadlock in general but it was Chelsea’s super sub Christopher Nkunku who came up with the only goal of the game at the death.
Chelsea are now 8th in the Premier League standings with two wins, one draw, and one defeat in four opening games.
West Ham have only managed a single win so far in the campaign. They avoided a defeat via a super-late equalizer in another city derby against Fulham last weekend.
Substitute Danny Ings found the stoppage-time leveller on Jarrod Bowen’s pass. The Hammers are 14th in the table.
