Two unbeaten sides in the competition face off to keep their unbeaten streak

After securing a convincing 2-0 win over Damac in the Saudi Pro League, Al Nassr are now set to face Qatari side Al Sadd at Al-Awwal Park on a Monday night action of the AFC Champions League Elite West.

Although Al Nassr have endured a mixed start to their Saudi Pro League season, their form in the AFC Champions League Elite has been very impressive after securing four wins and one draw to sit third in the overall standings.

The Knight of Najds have been ruthless in this competition having scored 12 goals and conceded just four from five games to accumulate 13 points from a possible 15.

Al Sadd have made an excellent start in this competition becoming one of the only four teams alongside their opponents on Monday to remain undefeated.

The Qatari side have won two games on the road while drawing another three to occupy fifth position in the standings. In the previous match against Al Hilal, they put on an excellent shift to pull a massive 1-1 draw in their favour.

Cristiano Ronaldo is not showing any sign of slowing down after yet another strong start to the season where he is single-handedly dragging his team to victories. He is a man in form at the moment having scored four goals in four appearances in this competition while taking his tally of goals in all competitions to 13.

His ability to occupy dangerous positions as well as convert the chances ruthlessly has seen him becoming the crucial player in the side.

Al Nassr secured a 3-1 win over Al Gharafa in the previous outing. Al Sadd played a 1-1 draw against Al Hilal in the previous outing. Al Nassr are unbeaten in the previous four games against Al Sadd.

Stefan Pioli’s side have two injury concerns in their squad. Aymeric Laporte is probably out of this game with a lack of match fitness while Sami Al-Najei is still sidelined due to a knee injury.

The visitors Al Sadd have a fully fit squad to choose from which will be a big boost for Felix Sanchez’s side.
