Tottenham will be looking to bounce back this weekend

Tottenham prolonger their dismal start to the Premier League season with a 0-1 defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby last weekend.

Ange Postecoglou’s men were the more dangerous side on the pitch but they still failed to convert and managed to concede a set piece goal to eventually lose the game.

It was the second straight loss for Spurs who fell to 13th position in the Premier League table as a consequence.

Tottenham will be looking to bounce back this weekend. They host Brentford in Matchday No 5 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Bees have two wins and draws each in the inaugural four matches of the season. They also have three wins in the previous four outings across competitions, a run that involves a 3-1 success against lower-division Leyton Orient in mid-week’s Carabao Cup fixture.

Tottenham vs Brentford Prediction
Brentford are in a very difficult situation after the terrible news around Yoanne Wissa. The in-form forward will be sidelined for at least a couple of months following the injury he suffered shortly after scoring at Etihad Stadium last weekend against Manchester City.

Ivan Toney left the team in the summer while new striker Thiago is also out with a long-term injury, meaning the front line will rely on Bryan Mbeumo, Kevin Schade, and Keane Lewis-Potter.
