The Kosovo National Team plays its second friendly match for the month of June

The Kosovo National Team plays its second friendly match for the month of June today, where it will face the Comoros National Team for the first time in history.

The match takes place at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium in Pristina and starts at 19:00.

After a convincing 5-2 victory over Armenia three days ago, the Dardanelles are looking for another positive result in facing a lesser-known opponent, but one that is coming to cause a surprise in Pristina.

Kosovo coach Franco Foda is expected to test new combinations in the lineup, using this challenge as part of preparations for upcoming official matches.

This will be the first match between the two national teams and a good opportunity for the Kosovar public to see up close the new players recruited by Franco Foda.

Fans are expected to be present in large numbers to support Kosovo at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium.

The match against Comoros is seen as a serious test, despite the opponent’s lower profile in the international arena. Comoros have shown continuous growth in recent years and are a team not to be underestimated.

Kosovo continued training for the second friendly match on Saturday morning at the FFK National Camp in Hajvali. Players who did not have full minutes trained, while the rest of the group had a chance to recover.

Kosovo begins its qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup on September 5 against Switzerland in Basel, while it hosts Sweden on September 8. Slovenia is also in Group B.
