Inter extended their winless thread to three games across competitions last weekend.
They offered a surprisingly weak performance in a 1-2 defeat to fierce local enemies AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina six days ago.
The defending champions are now 6th in the Serie A standings, sitting three points shy of leaders Torino.
Inter Milan will be looking to bounce back on Saturday afternoon. They head north to take on Udinese in the first game of Saturday’s league schedule at Bluenergy Stadium.
Udinese suffered their maiden defeat of the season last weekend, falling 0-3 away at Roma.
It was a horrendous showing from Kosta Runjaic’s troops who were completely outplayed on the pitch from the first to the final minute.
The fact that Udinese allowed eight shots on target says enough about their display. Runjaic can generally be worried about his team’s recent defensive showings.
Udinese shipped at least two goals in each of the previous two league fixtures and they kept just one clean sheet in five Serie A affairs this term.
Udinese got off to a fine start to the season with three wins and a draw in the maiden four rounds but they ruined it all with a dreadful performance last Sunday in the capital.
They are now up against the reigning champions who desperately want a rebound from a 1-2 defeat to city rivals AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.
