It’s a Europa League thriller in North London as in-form Tottenham prepare to take on a Roma side struggling to get out of 1st gear.
Spurs continue to keep fans guessing with their unpredictable form. Fresh off a stunning 4-0 demolition of Manchester City at the Etihad, they have alternated between Ws and Ls in their last seven league games, placing them sixth in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, their unbeaten run was botched by Galatasaray last time out with a 3-2 win. Despite this, the Lillywhites sit seventh in the league phase.
But they can solidify their automatic qualification spot after a win against Roma, who have been nothing short of chaotic. After sacking two head coaches in quick succession, Claudio Ranieri is back for a third stint.
However, his return hasn’t been smooth, with a 1-0 loss to Napoli marking their third consecutive Serie A defeat.
Currently languishing in 12th domestically, Roma’s Europa League campaign isn’t faring much better, with just one win and a 20th-place ranking in the league phase.
It might be too little too late to push for a charge. But if it is one then it must start from this game for the Yellow and Reds.
Roma have scored thrice in the UEL so far while conceding the same amount of goals as well.
Spurs only conceded once in the UEL before their game against Galatasaray where they conceded three in one game.
Spurs have only lost twice at home this season.
