Netherlands will host Hungary in a two-way battle for promotion to League A Group

Both teams are sitting with five points each in their Nations League group. The Dutch side would look to confirm their qualification in the next round with three points.

Holland has only 5 points from 4 matches and they cannot afford a defeat in the remaining two easy games. Ronald Koeman’s side were unbeaten from the last seven away games before losing to Germany.

Hungary, on the other hand, enters this game on the back of a 2-0 win over Bosnia, managing a 4-point gap with the rivals who face Germany this week.

Marco Rossi’s side is possibly going into the playoffs round but promotion is still alive. They have to beat Holland and also pray the Dutch drop points against Bosnia in the final game.

Van Dijk will be back in action after serving a suspension against Germany which will push Matthijs de Ligt to the bench.

Memphis Depay remains out due to fitness concerns. The Netherlands will miss the services of Nathan Ake, Jurrien Timber, and Quilindschy Hartman due to injury.

Teun Koopmeiners, Jerdy Schouten, and Joey Veerman are also unavailable due to injury.

Meanwhile, for Hungary, Dominik Szoboszlai will support Roland Sallai and Barnabas Varga in attack.

Loic Nego, Milos Kerkez, and Krisztofer Horvath remain out due to injury.

Endre Botka made a substitute appearance against Holland and Ferencvaros defender will be back to make a start.
