Kosovo will play today against Cyprus in “Fadil Vokrri” in the fourth round of the League of Nations.
“Dardans” are seen as absolute favorites on paper to win full points in this meeting that will start from 20:45.
However, this will not be the first time that Kosovo will face this opponent as they have met each other before.
The last meeting between these two national teams dates back to September 9, where Franco Foda’s men faced the traveling Cypriots.
Kosovo had convincingly won this duel with a result of 4-0 thanks to the goals scored by Vedat Muriqi (x2), Albion Rrahmani and Lumbardh Dellova.
A total of three matches have been played between Kosovo and Cyprus, and ours have a 100 percent winning record.
The other two meetings date back to 2022, also in the League of Nations, where on the trip Kosovo won with a clean score of 2-0 with the goals of Valon Berisha and Edon Zhegrova.
Meanwhile, the duel that was played at ‘Fadil Vokrri’ ended with a tennis score of 5-1 in favor of Kosovo.
Even in that match Muriqi stood out with two scored goals as he was helped by Elbasan Rashani, Donat Rrudhani and Florent Muslija who also found the net.
