Inter Milan will take on Lazio in Serie A on Sunday, 18 May, in a huge match at the top of the league table.
With just two weeks of the season to go, both clubs find themselves in a place behind where they would like to be, with Inter trailing Napoli in first and Lazio trailing Juventus in fourth.
As a result, the match on Sunday should be a cracker as it is between two teams who are desperate for three points.
Inter Milan’s status as favourites for this match is further backed up by their recent record in this fixture. The Nerazzuri have won five of their last six matches against Lazio, including two already this season in the league and cup. Lazio haven’t beaten Inter Milan since August 2022.
As mentioned above, Inter Milan will make significant changes this weekend, but they are still missing some important players due to injury. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Frattesi and Lautaro Martinez are all expected to miss out. Lazio don’t have as many injury corners, but they are missing two players – Luca Pellegrini and Mattia Zaccagni due to suspension.
