Inter have won all five head-to-head meetings against Frosinone

Inter suffered their second defeat of the season last weekend, falling 0-1 at relegation-threatened Sassuolo. The newly-crowned champions will now travel to Stadio Benito Stirpe to lock horns with Frosinone in the first game of Matchday No 36 on Friday evening.

Inter Milan have won all five head-to-head meetings against Frosinone with an impressive 13-1 goal difference along the way.
The Nerazzurri are still chasing the club record of 97 points set in 2007.

Seven of Sassuolo’s last nine home matches in the league saw three or more goals scored.
Inter Milan only two games in this term of the Serie A and both defeats have come at the hands of Sassuolo. The last weekend’s defeat terminated their 28th-game unbeaten run. Simone Inzaghi’s men can no longer amass 100 points but they can still surpass their 97-point record campaign from 2007.

Frosinone continued their unbeaten thread last Sunday. They played a goalless draw at Empoli. It was the fifth draw in their last six league affairs. The Neroverdi were the better team on the pitch throughout the 90 minutes of the game but just failed to concert any of bountiful opportunities in front of Empoli’s goal on the occasion.

The gulf in quality between these two sides is significant and Inter Milan have to be considered big favourites at Stadio Benito Stirpe. That said, the motivational factor is questionable for them. Simone Inzaghi rotated his squad heavily last weekend against Sassuolo and it resulted in a 0-1 defeat.

As much as Frosinone need the points in the relegation battle, we can hardly see the Nerazzurri dropping the ball twice in a row. After all, the visitors still have something to play for as the 2007 record is within the reach in the final three rounds of the season.

We expect more first-team regulars to feature for Inter Milan on Friday. Also, the Nerazzurri have won all of the previous five head-to-head clashes with Frosinone. We’ll back the visitors to have the lead at the half time and win the game at the end at the odds of 2.40.
