Raffaele Palladino has made a handful of changes to his free-scoring Fiorentina side for Thursday evening’s visit to Genoa in Serie A, as La Viola could climb into the Champions League positions with a win at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Fiorentina have scored 15 goals across their last three matches in all competitions, 11 in their last two Serie A matches after the thumping 5-1 and 6-0 victories over Roma and Lecce respectively.
There have been some alterations for the midweek clash against Genoa, though, as Moise Kean is given a rest up front. Riccardo Sottil and Christian Kouame return to the line-up instead.
Genoa’s changes have come in the attacking department. There are no alterations to the back four, despite a 3-0 loss against Lazio over the weekend, but there are returns to the starting line-up for Jeff Ekhator, Milan Badelj and Aaron Martin.
It is one game too soon for Mario Balotelli, who officially joined Genoa as a free agent on Monday evening. He has not been included in the matchday squad.
Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dodò, Quarta, Ranieri, Gosens; Richardson, Bove; Colpani, Beltran, Sottil; Kouame.
