Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray faced off in the 6th week of the Trendyol Super League. Galatasaray won the match played at Ülker Stadium 3-1.
The goals that brought victory to the red and yellows came from an own goal by Dominik Livakovic in the 20th minute, Dries Mertens in the 28th minute and Gabriel Sara in the 59th minute. Edin Dzeko scored the goal for the yellow and navy team from a penalty in the 63rd minute.
On the other hand, Galatasaray ended Fenerbahçe’s 32-match undefeated streak in the Super League.
With this result, Galatasaray continued on its path without a loss and increased to 18 points. Fenerbahçe remained at 13 points.
In the next week of the league, Fenerbahçe will face Antalyaspor away. Galatasaray will host Kasımpaşa at home.
