Distria Krasniqi has reached the semifinals at the ‘Paris 2024’ Olympic Games in Judo in the category up to -52 kilograms.
The judoka from Kosovo has won two extraordinary victories in the first two matches.
Initially, Krasniqi managed to get an ippon victory over judoka from Indonesia, Maryam March Maharani, valid for 52 kilograms in just 39 seconds.
Meanwhile, in the quarterfinals, Krasniqi won again by ippon against the judoka from Indonesia, Maryam March Maharani.
In the semifinals, Distria will face the Italian judoka Odette Giuffrida starting at 16:00.
The other semi-final is between Diyora Keldiyorova and Amandine Bouchard.
In this category in the repechage are Mascha Ballhaus and Larissa Pimenta as well as the other duel Gefen Primo and Reka Pupp.
