Der Klassiker is back on as Bayern Munich travel to Borussia Dortmund for a German Bundesliga clash

Dortmund seem to have overcome a tough start to the season as they come into this match on the back of two successive wins. They defeated Freiburg 4-0 in the league before a 3-0 rout of Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League this week.

League leaders Bayern Munich extended their winning streak across all competitions to seven games with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over PSG in the Champions League. Their last Bundesliga game saw them convincingly defeat Augsburg 3-0.

This German Bundesliga clash takes place at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, Germany and kicks off on Saturday, November 30 at 6:30 p.m. local time.

Borussia Dortmund will be without Karim Adeyemi who is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Additionally, Julian Brandt is a doubt after being subbed off due to a knock against Dinamo Zagreb in their last match.

Emre Can will also miss this game as he will be serving the second game of two match suspension. However, Niklas Sule has recovered from an ankle injury and could feature off the bench.

Borussia Dortmund XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Kobel (GK) — Ryerson, Anton, Schlotterbeck, Bensebaini — Nmecha, Gross — Beier, Sabitzer, Gittens — Guirassy.

Bayern Munich come into this game without the likes of Joao Palhinha, Hiroki Ito, Josip Stanisic, and Sven Ulreich, who are sidelined due to fitness concerns.

Harry Kane has once again been phenomenal for Bayern Munich this season and should be supported in attack by Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala, and Kingsley Coman.

Bayern Munich XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Neuer (GK) — Guerreiro, Upamecano, Kim, Davies — Kimmich, Goretzka — Olise, Musiala, Coman — Kane.

This is the most-contested fixture in German Bundesliga history, with both sides clashing on 135 occasions prior to this match. History favors Bayern Munich, who have won 67 of these ties opposed to Borussia Dortmund’s 33 victories.

Dortmund boast a perfect record at home this season, winning all six of their matches at Signal Iduna Park. Meanwhile, Bayern have been the standout team on the road. Despite Dortmund’s impressive form on home turf, Bayern’s strength away from home suggests they could hand the hosts their first home defeat of the campaign in a close and entertaining contest.
