Bayern Munich are hoping to preserve their perfect record in the home tie against the defending champions Bayer Leverkusen.

The Bavarians are firing on all cylinders these days. They’ve notched as many as 20 goals in the last three wins across competitions.

The thread involves a 9-2 thumping of Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb on the opening day of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League campaign.

Their latest victims were Werder Bremen as Vincent Kompany’s men celebrated a 5-0 victory on the road last weekend.

It was a match in which Bremen failed to register a single attempt in the 90 minutes of action.

Bayer Leverkusen will also come into the tie on a high. They survived a tough Wolfsburg test last weekend, claiming a 4-3 comeback victory at BayArena with a late winner from Victor Boniface.
