Bayer Leverkusen will be looking to kick off a new era on a winning note

Bayer Leverkusen are ready to host Eintracht Frankfurt in the matchweek 3 fixture of the 2025-26 Bundesliga edition. BayArena is all set to witness the interesting contest between the two clubs.
Bayer Leverkusen saw an early change into the new season. After they failed to win their first two games, the club sacked Erik ten Hag.
They have now bought Kasper Hjulmand as their new manager. It will be interesting to see their performances going forward.
Eintracht Frankfurt are coming in after securing a 3-1 win against TSG Hoffenheim in their previous Bundesliga game. It was a good performance overall by them.
But they conceded a late goal and failed to secure a clean sheet. Frankfurt will be away from home, but will be feeling confident.
Patrik Schick scored a brace in Leverkusen’s 3-3 draw with Werder Bremen just before the international break. The striker scored 21 Bundesliga goals last season and will be looking for another solid season in Germany. The 29-year-old is undoubtedly the man to watch on Friday (Patrik Schick anytime goalscorer – priced at 5/4 by BoyleSports).
Japan’s Ritsu Doan is the man to watch for Eintracht. All four of his goals in all competitions for Frankfurt this term have come away from home. On top of that, he has also scored against Leverkusen in three of his last four seasons. (Ritsu Doan anytime goalscorer – priced at 11/4)
Probable line-ups:
Hjulmand only had two training sessions with his new team, meaning we may not see too many changes from the team which squandered a 3-1 lead against Bremen. Jeanuel Belocian could be thrown back into action, with the Frenchman reportedly back from his long-term knee injury. Jonas Hofmann, on the other hand, is unlikely to feature.
When it comes to Eintracht, the team remain without goalkeeper Kaua Santos, meaning Michael Zetterer will keep his place in goal. World Cup winner Mario Gotze is a doubt for the game due to a muscle injury. Jessic Ngankam is also a doubt.
