Barcelona have won twelve of their last fourteen matches

The club from Pamplona lost the eighth spot (and with it, the right to play in the Conference League) to Rayo Vallecano only on additional tiebreakers. Now they are trying to achieve success. However, this spring, they managed to win only against Girona and, in the last round, against the struggling Sevilla.

The Catalan giants under Flick took all three “Spanish” trophies in 2024/2025. So far this season, they have only added the Super Cup. But then they lost to Atletico in both the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, and in both cases in an identical scenario: failing in the first match and heroically trying to come back in the return leg, but falling short by one goal. That leaves La Liga, where, fortunately, Real Madrid has practically capitulated this spring with their regular slip-ups. The leaders keep winning, including this week against a solid Getafe side.

Lisca’s team shows a near balance: scoring 1.18 goals per game and conceding 1.21. The champions average 2.64 goals scored and, for a top club, concede not so little—0.91 goals per game.
