ARSENAL have beaten German champions Bayer Leverkusen 4-1 in a pre-season friendly at the Emirates.
The Gunners took the lead through Oleksandr Zinchenko’s thunderbolt on eight minutes.
60 seconds later, Leandro Trossard doubled Arsenal’s lead after great feet to evade the Leverkusen defenders.
On 38 minutes, Gabriel Jesus’ stunner from outside the box made it 3-0 as the Gunners cruised into the interval with a comfortable lead.
Kai Havertz tapped in for 4-0 just after the hour mark before Adam Hlozek got the Germans on the scoresheet.
