He knocked down his plis before the fight, the Albanian boxer takes revenge in the ring

Amarildo Bakaj is one of the many Albanian boxers who are making a career in Germany. Bakaj is from Lezha and has already won seven victories in professional boxing, all by knockout. On Saturday, Bakaj defeated Leo Tchoulas via a second-round stoppage.

The fight with Tchoulan was preceded by an unusual episode. During the presentation the day before the duel, while the boxers faced each other, the Cameroonian used his hand to remove the pliss from the Albanian boxer’s head. There was then a crush between the boxers while Bakaj promised revenge in the ring. And he did that, scoring a convincing stoppage win in the second round.

It is not uncommon for boxers to perform actions in the official presentation in order to entice spectators to watch the fight. There are cases where promoters make the atmosphere more tense to make the fight more attractive.

“There is no one who can take away our pride from Albanians,” wrote Amarildo Bakaj.
