Al Nassr will play against Al Taawoun in a crucial Saudi King’s Cup Round of 16 match

Al-Nasr will face their rivals Al-Taawoun in Riyadh during the quarter-finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Football Cup.

Al-Nasr defeated Al-Hazm in the Round of 16 with a score of 2-1, while Al-Taawoun edged past Abha in extra time with a thrilling 3-2 victory.

Al-Nasr will be without their French trio of Mohamed Simakan, Spanish defender Aymeric Laporte, and Portuguese midfielder Otavio. Similarly, Al-Taawoun will miss the services of Mohamed Al-Kuwaikbi, Mohamed Mahzri, and Fahd Al-Jumaiah.

Previously, Al-Nasr was caught in a 3-3 draw with Al-Kholod in the league while star player Cristiano Ronaldo was absent.

The match will take place today, Tuesday, October 29, at Al Awal Park Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 8:30 p.m. (20:30) Makkah, Doha, and Cairo time, and 10:30 p.m. (22:30) Abu Dhabi time.

Al-Nasr boasts a strong record in this competition, having won all four encounters they have played against Al-Taawoun.
