Al Nassr are ready to battle it out against Al Ittihad at the Hong Kong Stadium in what is going to be the 2025 Saudi Super Cup semifinal fixture. It is going to be an interesting contest between the two clubs.

Al Nassr do not have the best record against Al Ittihad, but they have made some changes in the squad this time around and will be looking for a win. Jorge Jesus is their new manager and they have signed Kingsley Coman, Joao Felix and Inigo Martinez, who can help Cristiano Ronaldo secure a silverware for Al Nassr.

Ittihad came up with some great performances during the 2024-25 season, which helped them lift the Saudi Pro League title. They will be feeling confident due to their positive record against Al Nassr. Karim Benzema and company are coming in after a poor pre-season run, which might affect their form.

Al Nassr concluded the previous Saudi Pro League in third place. This brought an end to their two consecutive second-place finishes in the preceding seasons.

As preparation for the upcoming 2025-26 Saudi Pro League, the Global One had to navigate four preseason games. It was an impressive showing, winning their first three games before falling to a 3-2 defeat against Spain’s Almeria.

Looking to start the new season with silverware, they now shift their focus to the Super Cup Saudi Arabia. The last time they were crowned champions was in 2021, marking their second trophy in this tournament.

Al Ittihad clinched their sixth Saudi Pro League title by finishing in first place in the previous season. They maintained an eight-point cushion over second-place Al Hilal.

Unlike their opponents, their performance in the preseason games failed to live up to expectations. In fact, they lost three matches in a row and conceded ten goals during the process.

The last time the Tigers were crowned champions in this tournament was in 2022-23. It was their first title in this tournament. They head into this clash to clinch their second.
