Fenerbahçe, representing our country in the Champions League, lost 2-1 to Lille in the first match of the 3rd qualifying round with a last-minute goal.
The match was played at the Stade Du Hainaut in France and was refereed by Romanian referee Istvan Kovacs.
In the match, the home team Lille took the lead 1-0 in the 12th minute with Tiago Santos. İrfan Can Kahveci, who came on stage in the 79th minute of the match, brought the equalizer to Fenerbahçe with a magnificent goal he scored from a free kick.
In the last moments of the match, the French team left the field with a 2-1 victory with Zhegrova’s goal.
The second leg of the 3rd qualifying round will be played on Tuesday, August 13 at 20:00.
