Inter have not lost to Lecce in their last eight matches with their last defeat coming way back in 2011

Lecce are set for an important Serie A clash against Inter Milan on January 26. Inter are just a win away and they will have the same points as the table-toppers Napoli. They are currently in the second spot and are having a good season as per their performances so far. Simone Inzaghi’s men will have a chance to take the number one spot in the Serie A points table.

Lecce are just one position away from falling into the relegation zone. Although they have bagged five wins in Serie A this season, they have also last 11 matches so far and five have ended in a draw. Lecce are desperate for a win here so that they can avoid falling in the relegation zone. This will result in their demotion to the Serie B league.

Inter Milan will be eyeing the top spot in the Serie A 2024-25. They are on a great victory run in the Italian league. Inter are in a close fight with Napoli for the top spot and they also have one match more than Napoli in their pocket. Simone Inzaghi will come out with the best tactics to restrict Lecce from securing a win. Although a draw might be up on the cards.

And with Hakan Calhanoglu still out, there could be opportunities for the likes of Davide Frattesi and Piotr Zielinski instead.

Lautaro Martinez and leading goalscorer Marcus Thuram are expected to lead the line.
