Bologna have secured 54 wins against Roma, the most against any side in the Serie A

Bologna will resume their Serie A proceedings with a clash against AS Roma in their 18th league game of the season. They will return to action for the first time in 2025 and will look to start the calendar year on a high.

With seven wins and draws each combined with three defeats, the Felsinians have enjoyed a great season so far.

They are currently placed seventh in the standings with two games in hand. Additionally, they have remained undefeated in seven of their eight home games this season.

Roma on the other hand have not enjoyed a flawless season so far. They are seeking consistency and are desperate to revive their campaign. The Wolves have been through a concerning run of form on the road and are yet to win a game away from home.

However, they come into this fixture on the back of a 2-0 win against Lazio and will hope to build upon their newly found confidence.

Benjamín Domínguez is the man in form for Bologna heading into this fixture. The striker is fresh off a brace in the last game and brings a lot of confidence into the game against Roma. Domínguez is primarily positioned as a left winger, but can also slot in as a midfielder if required.

The Argentine prodigy has impressed everyone in the limited opportunities that he has got and has found the back of the net three times across all competitions. He has an excellent work rate and contributes on both ends of the pitch.

Paulo Dybala has been one of the best players in the Serie A this season. The Argentine international has been in fine form in the last three games and has put in exceptional displays in the process. He is known for his vision, ball distribution and dribbling abilities.

Dybala is a menace up front and brings with him a lot of experience and expertise. He has six goal contributions in the league this season, including three goals and an assist in the last three games.
