Roma have won their last two matches in all competitions

Como are winless in five games in Serie A. Roma have won their last two matches in all competitions. This is the first meeting ever between the two teams.

Como are on a lengthy winless run in the league, and so confidence will be low even at home going into this one. Meanwhile, Roma seemed to have turned a corner with back-to-back convincing victories, and so will be aiming to make it three wins in a row over the weekend.

Unsurprisingly given current form and their various positions in the league table, Roma are favourites to take another three points away from home. A draw is the next fancied result, just ahead of a Como win on home turf.

Indeed, Como are in real danger of a swift return back down to Serie B, and a positive result against Roma looks unlikely on current form. They have managed to draw three of their previous four matches and score in each though, which could give them some form of encouragement.

Off the back of successive victories, Roma should be going into this weekend’s clash with a lot more confidence. Both of those wins were by a three-goal margin as well, so there is a chance of even more goals for them.

Manu Kone has contributed a goal and an assist across Roma’s previous two wins, highlighting his importance to the team. The Frenchman has shown that he is effective not just as a defensive midfield player, but in the attacking third of the pitch as well.
