Defending champions Argentina are firm favourites in the Copa America 2024 final, but the red-hot Colombia cannot be underestimated.
Argentina made use of their easy route to finals and will be making their sixth Copa America final appearance in 8 editions. After finishing top of the group that included minnows Canada and formless Peru and Chile, they had defeated Ecuador in the quarter finals before easing past Canada 2-0 in the semis.
The Albiceleste are record Copa America Champions though they share this with Uruguay, both have 15 titles.
Colombia on the other hand had a tough assignment in the semifinal in the form of Uruguay. The lone goal in the match came from Jefferson Lerma, however they had to play second half with 10 men following red card to full-back Daniel Munoz.
This will be Colombia’s third Copa America final appearance and their only title win happened in 2001 when they hosted the competition.
