Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood are expected to return to Carrington for pre-season if they have not left Man United by then. United resume training on July 8.
ESPN reports that the Englishmen and other United players who are neither at the Euros nor Copa America have been told that they must return to the club’s training ground.
Sancho spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after falling out with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag while Greenwood had six fruitful months at Getafe.
The pair are both expected to leave the club on a permanent basis this summer but a deal for neither has yet been agreed. Hence, it is still assumed that they are United players and must return for pre-season.
