PSG are still on an 11-match unbeaten streak across all competitions

PSG’s winning streak finally ended last Saturday as the team recorded a 1-1 draw against Reims. However, they are still on an 11-match unbeaten streak across all competitions. Their next Ligue 1 match is scheduled at home and will be having highest of spirits.

The team will meet Rennes as their visiting rivals on Friday and the guests won two, draw one and lost two of their five league matches at the start. They will enter this match following a 1-1 draw against Lens.

Moving on, PSG is on a three-match unbeaten streak in the head-to-head clashes against Rennes and has won two in that period. At this venue, PSG was unbeaten in six of the last seven clashes against Rennes. Also, PSG has scored 20 goals in the last 10 meetings against Rennes. By the looks of things, we expect a pleasant day for the local supporters at Parc des Princess on Friday.

The home form of PSG looks impressive enough. They are now on a three-match winning streak at home and has scored 10 goals in that period. Their three Ligue 1 games at home saw the landing of the over 3.5 goals option which is noteworthy.

Do also note that PSG’s French striker Ousmane Dembele has scored 4 goals and two assists in his five league appearances. He scored a brace in PSG’s latest home outing.

On the other hand, Rennes is having a five-match winless streak on the road and has lost four in that period. However, Rennes has scored goals in the last five Ligue 1 road trips. In that case, we expect a home win with goals coming from both ends.
