AC Milan seem to have finally found the right rhythm after a slow start

AC Milan seem to have finally found the right rhythm after a slow start to the 2024/25 season.

The Rossoneri dispatched defending champions Inter Milan 2-1 on Sunday evening in the Derby della Madonnina.

It was a marvellous all-around display from Paulo Fonseca’s men. They controlled the happenings on the pitch throughout most of the Milano derby.

Christian Pulisic and Matteo Gabbia were the goal-scorers while we must recognize a phenomenal approach by every single player on the pitch on the occasion.

It was also the second win on the trot in the league for AC Milan. They will have a great opportunity to get the third on the board on Friday evening.

Fonseca’s troops host Lecce in the first match of Gameweek No 6 on Friday night at Stadio San Siro.

The visitors will enter the tie in a completely opposite mood after a disappointing Coppa Italia defeat to lower-division Sassuolo in front of the home crowd on Tuesday night.

Lecce have failed to find the back of the net in two league games on the road this season. AC Milan notched six goals in the back-to-back wins over Venezia and Inter Milan.

The hosts have also dominated this matchup historically. They won 10, drew 3, and lost only 1 of the previous 14 home outings against Lecce.

AC Milan picked up a 3-0 victory in the previous home clash with Lecce in Aril this year. We expect a similar scenario to occur this time around.
