Juventus got off to a strong start to Thiago Motta’s reign in Turin

Empoli’s three-game unbeaten streak will be on a serious test on Saturday afternoon when Juventus come to visit Stadio Carlo Castellani for the Matchday No 4 fixture.

The hosts have been one of the most pleasant surprises of the start to the 2024/25 Serie A campaign.

They took five points from the opening three games and they will go into this on the back of a big 1-1 stalemate at Bologna.

It was a fabulous start for Roberto D’Aversa who took over Davide Nicola on Empoli’s bench in July this year.

As for Juventus, they also got off to a strong start to Thiago Motta’s reign in Turin. Motta led Bologna to a top-four finish last year and he managed back-to-back 3-0 wins with Juventus at the beginning of this season.

The run was stopped by Roma as the Bianconeri failed to break the deadlock in a goalless draw two weeks ago at Allianz Stadium.

Empoli vs Juventus Prediction
Empoli did get a point in the previous round in Bologna but they got very lucky to do so. The team led by Roberto D’Aversa managed only four shots in total at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

They are now up against Juventus who are yet to concede a goal this season. To make things worse for Empoli, they lost 20, drew 4, and won only 4 of the last 28 clashes against Juventus.

Although Juventus did not quite shine two weeks ago against Roma, we can hardly back anything else but the away win at the 1.72 odds here.
