Qatar have won only one of their last eleven matches

Bosnia and Herzegovina were among the last European teams to qualify for the World Cup. They finished second in their group, just a few points behind Austria. In March, they drew 1-1 and then won on penalties against both Wales and Italy. In the long-awaited tournament, they started against Canada. After taking the lead, they rightfully allowed their opponent to equalize. Against Switzerland, playing with a man down, they suffered a heavy defeat, losing 1-4.

The Qatar team is playing in their second consecutive World Cup. In 2022, they debuted as hosts. This time, they finished only fourth in their main qualifying group but advanced by outperforming the UAE and Oman in the play-offs. Since then, they have not won a match in either the Arab Cup or friendlies. In the opening round against Switzerland, they surprisingly snatched a victory at the very end. Then, against Canada, after conceding six goals, they only responded with a couple of red cards.

The Europeans average 1.5 goals per match scored and twice less, 1.3, conceded. For the Middle Eastern side, it’s the opposite: 0.5 goals scored and 1.6 conceded per game.
