Roma have won two of their last eight matches

The capital club improved last season after Ranieri returned as head coach but still finished right behind Juventus, in fifth place. The current manager, Gasperini, has also had mixed results—his side exited the Europa League in the Round of 16 against Bologna and were eliminated early from the cup. All efforts have shifted to Serie A, where they are fighting for a top-four finish. However, after the break, they suffered a heavy defeat to Inter, but bounced back with a convincing win over Pisa.

The Bergamo team finished third last spring, but after that Gasperini moved to Rome. The first choice of successor didn’t pan out, and under Juric, they had a poor start. Palladino is doing much better—losing only to Bayern in the Champions League and reaching the cup semi-final, where they meet Inter. However, in Serie A, they are still some distance from the top four, and spring brought plenty of setbacks. In the last round, they also lost 0-1 to Juventus.

Currently, the capital’s players score an average of 1.41 goals per match and concede almost half as many—0.88. De Ketelaere and his teammates average 1.38 goals scored, but also concede 0.88 goals per game.

In their last seven head-to-head meetings, Roma managed just one draw.
