PSG will play with a 1-4-3-3 formation

The Parisian giants are the current Champions League holders. In 2025, the only title they missed out on was the Club World Cup. Now, they have already let go of the domestic cup after an early exit, losing to another Parisian side. In Ligue 1, they are still unable to build a comfortable lead due to their own stumbles and persistent pressure from Lens. Meanwhile, Slot, who won the Premier League in his first season in England, is fighting for no better than fifth place there. In the domestic cup, they were thrashed 0-4 by Manchester City.

The Champions League titleholders didn’t look very convincing in the group stage—winning half of their matches, including in Barcelona, but a series of slip-ups forced them into the playoffs already in February, and the tie against Monaco was tough: they came from behind to win 3-2 away and settled for a home draw. However, they avenged their summer defeat to Chelsea by beating them 5-2 and 3-0.

The English side also suffered defeats in the autumn but ultimately finished third with six wins. They started their playoff campaign just last month. Returning to Istanbul, they repeated a 0-1 result against Galatasaray, but crushed the Turkish club 4-0 at home.

Previous Matches: PSG vs Liverpool

So far, the record is perfectly balanced: in 2018, both sides exchanged home victories, while in March last year, they won away matches.

All the advantages are with Luis Enrique’s men. We expect them to win (odds – 1.63).
