Ranked 4th in the division, “Fluffy” was looking to take down the former champion.
The preliminary card also featured French fighter Nora Cornolle, currently ranked 12th in the women’s bantamweight division, who faced a former opponent she had previously defeated . This rematch pitted her against Joselyne Edwards, ranked 14th in the division.
